The need for black sports writers is never more apparent than when the mainstream media parades its latest boogeyman in front of its white fan base. Most weeks, it's LeBron James, but this week it's Bryant Gumbel.
Three weeks ago, Bomani Jones took this issue from the newsroom to the Internet and asked why there aren't more black writers in the sports blogosphere. The Section 357 Show tackled the issue on their podcast from three different viewpoints.
