Udonis Haslem's top plays, performances, stats and splits from the 2012 season.
The Miami HEAT Index is reviewing each HEAT player's performance in the 2012 season, from the most productive to the least productive. LeBron, Wade, Chalmers, Bosh and The Warden were the first five players reviewed. The sixth review is UD.
Season Analysis
UD finished 6th on the HEAT with an est. 3.2 wins produced in the 2012 regular season (0.098 est.WP48) from 81% free throw shooting, 14.1 rebounds and only 1.8 turnovers per 48 minutes.
Haslem produced an estimated 7.5% of the HEAT's wins in 9.9% of the minutes during the regular season plus an estimated 5.7% of the team's wins in the playoffs (0.9 est. wins produced) with 8.1% of the minutes during the post-season.
Top 10 Games
UD saved many of his best games for the biggest stage last season. Four of his 10 most productive games from last season came in the playoffs, but the HEAT didn't win his most productive post-season game in 2012. The HEAT went 6-4 in UD's 10 most productive games last season and 4 of those performances by Miami's own were at home.
Haslem's most productive post-season game was the HEAT's overtime loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and ranked as UD's 2nd most productive game overall. Haslem produced an est. 0.3 wins in 35.8 minutes (0.424 est.WP48) from 12 points on 4-for-6 shooting from the floor, 4-for-4 from the line, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers, 1 steal and 3 fouls.
UD's most productive game last season was the HEAT's 16-point blowout of the Cavs at American Airlines Arena. He produced an est. 0.3 wins in 28.2 minutes (0.568 est.WP48) from 14 points on 4-for-6 shooting from the floor, 6-for-7 from the line, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 turnovers, 1 steal and 2 fouls.
The spreadsheet below lists Haslem's production in every game from last season, ranked from most productive to least productive.
Splits
Overall, UD's most productive splits last season were in the 4th quarter and overtime. Haslem played most of his minutes in the 4th quarter (where he was most productive) and the least amount of minutes in the 1st quarter (where he was least productive). Oddly enough, on a quarterly basis, UD was most productive in 1st quarters on the road and 3rd quarters at home. I have no idea why that was the case.
In the 4th quarter, UD produced an est. 1.6 wins in 594.5 minutes (0.132 est.WP48) from 13.1 points on 52% shooting efficiency, 72% free throw shooting on 3.8 attempts, 13.8 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 1.6 turnovers, 1.0 steal, 0.8 blocks and 5.8 fouls per 48 minutes.
UD produced an est. 0.1 wins in 39.1 minutes of overtime (0.162 est.WP48) from 9.8 points on 43% shooting efficiency, 100% free throw shooting on 2.5 attempts, 9.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 fouls per 48 minutes.
